Makala has a home. It is called Los Titos Coffee & Organic Farm.

Los Titos has been family-owned for over 90 years and 4 generations. We take pride in our unique banana variety, developed right on our farm.

We are dedicated to sustainability and social impact through organic farming & job creation.

Our farm is more than just landit's a legacy.

Organic Certification

Certified by MAG and compliant with EU organic farming standards, our commitment to organic practices ensures the highest quality and traceability.

Crop Diversification

For over 50 years, we've embraced biodiversity through crop diversification, rotating crops like Golden Berry, Calamansi or Cassava alongside our staples; coffee and bananas.

Soil Health & Rotation

Our farm thrives by rotating crops and resting the soil, allowing it to recover and maintain its health, ensuring sustainable farming practices.

Closed Cycles

We sustain closed nutrient cycles on our farm by creating our own organic compost and insecticides from farm waste, promoting a self-sustaining ecosystem.

No Resource Goes to Waste

Every drop counts— we collect rainwater for our gardens and compost, maximizing the use of natural resources in our organic farming practices.

Agro-tourism Project

Los Titos dedicates 6% of its land to a nature reserve, a sanctuary teeming with biodiversity that includes over 15 species of birds, resident sloths, and a lush garden. Surrounded by traditional agriculture and cattle farms, our land stands as an oasis for local flora and fauna.
